" Hey Katie! I just wanted to thank you again for your amazing class. When I signed up for your course, I didn't know what to expect. I was hoping for something useful and fun to get me out of the house, away from "Mom" duties, and I hoped to learn a little bit more about the structure of stand-up comedy.

 

Your course exceeded my expectations and absolutely delivered on the structure lesson. You provided a very clear and thorough breakdown of the premise/because/punchline structure and provided especially honest, helpful feedback. And I really appreciated your ability to wrangle a classroom full of people who love to talk about themselves (myself included) and you kept the course on track. While you were honest and direct, you also provided really compassionate and encouraging guidance. I always felt like you wanted us to really be successful in your course. I knew I wanted the comedy lesson, but I had no idea that I was also going to experience an almost therapeutic lesson in just being present and comfortable in my own skin.
